Distinguished Alumnus Awards and Guidelines

The four Awards to be presented at the National Convention are as follows:

• The L. C. Sharp Award shall be to an Alumnus of Douglass High School who has made outstanding contributions to the professional, business, and/or social world over a period of one to three years.

  • Level of achievement in the field (Professional, Business, and/or Social World)
  • Special Awards within the field
  • Number of years in the field
  • Outstanding contributions in the field
  • Achievement was/is noteworthy and brought honor to the Nominee and the School
• The Distinguished Achievement Award shall be presented to a member of NDAC who rendered outstanding service in his/her chosen field over a period of one to three years.
  Info to submit
  • Level of achievement in the field (Professional, Business, and/or Social World)
  • Special Awards within the field
  • Number of years in the field
  • Outstanding contributions in the field
  • Achievement was/is noteworthy and brought honor to the Nominee and the School
• The Alumni Service Award shall be given to a member who has rendered outstanding service to the National Corporation.

• The J. D. Springer Award shall be given to a member who has rendered outstanding volunteer service over a period of one to three years not in the performance of an occupation.
